Fika Coffee is a small batch coffee roaster and retailer based out of Lutsen, Minnesota. In recent years, Fika has grown significantly as an organization. This has spurred a movement to upgrade to a bigger, more suitable space for their ever-growing operation. This goal presents significant challenges while building in the wild and remote regions of Lake Superior's North Shore. To aid in this ambitious goal, Fika decided to lean into their social capital by creating a fundraiser that would help furnish the roastery with equipment and other necessities. North Star produced the main hero video for the fundraiser, telling their story and goals. We also supplemented an email nurture sequence with a video series giving their newsletter subscribers an insider look of the build. Video content is a powerful augmentation tool for any digital campaign, providing value to audiences and building trust - boosting their caimpaigns effectiveness and driving more donations. Together, we helped raise over $60,000 to go towards their new roastery project.
